Additional 'seashore' images have been added for you to decorate your bug environments. These go particularly well with the seaside backgrounds.

Pet and feed your own creations as they scuttle around within the Pet Bugs environment. Create your own unique bug graphics on a PC or Mac using whatever drawing package you have to hand, then import them onto your iPhone as you would a photograph. The graphics will then be accessible from within the Pet Bugs application.
Choose your own background image from your photo collection. Have the bugs scurry over your own ground textures, or your own face if you like.
Mail a screenshot of your creations to me and I'll post the best ones on this website.

Larger scrolling backgrounds - these really do look the business. Thanks to those reviewers for suggesting this feature.
Bug tracking camera - now that the bugs can wander off screen you have the ability to track the movement of any bug.
Thought bubble appears automatically at random intervals.
Removing fuel gauge & replacing with animation and sound effect.
A faster method for scrolling through and selecting background images. This really is cool I can't wait for you to see it. Also a button which cycles to a random background image.
Maggot throwing on a button as well as still being activated by shaking the device.
Menu on a button as swiping the screen now pans around the larger environments.

New App Settings:

Random background option - get a different background every time you run the app.
volume control for 1st gen iPod Touches.
turn automatic thought bubble on/off and control the time between displays.

Pet Bugs is now available for purchase on the iPhone App Store.

"This app is so much fun. Trust me. THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST INTERACTIVE APPS IN THE STORE. You are able to customize EVERYTHING. From like 20 different real looking backgrounds, to the bugs, decorating your settings (leaves, logs, etc...) , you can name your bugs, pet your bugs, tickle, feed the bugs, put them to sleep AND EVEN SQUASH THE BUGS! But if you squash them they wont come back to life until you restart the app (which is kinda cool). I'm a 23 yr old guy and this app has entertained the heck outta me. I also have a girlfriend who is absolutely terrified of bugs and this will be great to screw with her because EVERYTHING LOOKS AND MOVES SO REAL. Wow i feel like a little kid, lol. But this is a really neat app you should try out. Hell, i woulda paid more if i knew it would be this cool. I'm gonna go mess with my women with this app, im pumped."

"I was going to write a good review in the itunes application site for your bug application as I think there has been alot of work to get it as far as it has, and the only app I know that let's you know how to design it to your own liking, I love it, even though I am not a bug person...but my grandson''s also love to swash them. but on the itunes store, it says can't write review, unless i have downloaded it... I have had it since it first came out, and think maybe there is a glitch as it won't let me write a good review, as I thought you deserved it...besides that I think it great, great job.."

The Pet Bugs app has been submitted to the App Store. Not sure how long the Apple acceptance process will take, but Pet Bugs should hopefully be in the App Store within a week or two.

Welcome to ChuckleSoft. I am readying my first application for launch in the App Store, and it will hopefully be released before Xmas '08.
